Travel south after arrival or from Colombo. Keep the first afternoon light and leave time to settle in. The exact drive depends on your arrival time.

The fort and the sea
Explore Galle Fort at walking pace, then make space for the shore near Unawatuna. Choose how much history and beach time feels right.
- 03DAY 3 · NIGHT IN WELIGAMA
Along the coast to Weligama
Move east without rushing through every town. Weligama becomes your base for the next two nights, so there is time for a slower afternoon.
- 04DAY 4 · NIGHT IN WELIGAMA
A day with no checklist
Visit Mirissa or stay close to Weligama. Surf or a marine outing can be discussed separately when conditions and operators suit your dates.
- 05DAY 5 · NIGHT IN TANGALLE
The quieter southern edge
Continue toward Tangalle and pause at Goyambokka Beach. Keep the evening open rather than adding another long list of stops.
- 06DAY 6 · DEPARTURE
The road back
Return toward Colombo or the airport. An early flight may need a different final-night base; we will adjust the plan before quoting.
