A descending route through very different landscapes. Begin in Kandy, cross cooler tea country toward Ella, pause near Udawalawe and finish along the south coast. Weather, park access and any rail segment stay conditional.

Climbing into tea country
Follow the mountain road toward Nuwara Eliya. Add a specific estate or factory only after access is confirmed.

Continue toward Ella by road, or discuss a rail segment only if it is operating and tickets are secured.

Coast to fort
Travel west toward Galle Fort, balancing shore time with a slow walk through the historic city.

Continue to Colombo or the airport. Flight time may require a different final-night base.
